Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Prospecting:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and target industries.
- Identify and prospect potential clients through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects for future sales and business development activities.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Regularly communicate with clients to understand evolving needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to convert leads into clients and meet sales targets.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to promote the company’s products/services and demonstrate their value.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure consistent messaging.
- Proposal & Contract Development:
- Assist in preparing proposals and contracts based on the client’s requirements and the company’s offerings.
- Work closely with the legal and finance teams to ensure that contracts comply with company policies and are financially viable.
- Follow up on proposals and contracts to ensure they are signed and delivered in a timely manner.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and report on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Maintain accurate records of all business development activities, sales forecasts, and client interactions using CRM software.
- Analyze sales data and trends to refine business development strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions and to address any client concerns or issues.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on client preferences, market trends, and competitor insights.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate on business development initiatives.
- Brand Promotion & Networking:
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking events to generate new business leads.
- Promote the company’s brand and offerings at external events, building awareness and driving engagement with potential clients.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor strategies.
